Why use hypnosis for weight management? This is a question I get asked so many times. The answer is simple. Our behaviours are driven by our subconscious “emotional” mind. How many times have you tried to lose weight? You started a diet and got a gym membership to workout. Initially you were excited when you saw your body successfully shed that extra weight and that motivated you even more. Once you got to that goal weight, that excitement somehow changed to a constant effort to maintain that weight. Slowly it became a struggle to maintain that goal weight. Soon you are back to the old ways of eating and finding excuses to justify that you have no time to exercise.
How do I know? I have been through those struggling times myself, until I discovered that we have another mind controlling our behaviours. This is the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is the mind which is driving all our habits and behaviours. There emotional drivers (programs) in our subconscious mind which are resistant to change. If we do not change our subconscious emotional drivers, any change in weight will only be temporary.
